ABOUT ME
WHO AM I? PANNING FOR GOLD. HUNTING FOR WINNERS.
A lifelong video gamer, technology junkie and brand/category maker, Michael has enjoyed a lifelong obsession with emerging technology and media. Michael loves spotting “tipping points” – using structured consumer and market research – to tell simply powerful stories. But fine-polish into laser-focused activation to accelerate adoption and revenue.
WHAT IS MY BACKGROUND? BRAND, PUBLISHER, TECH, AND CONSULTING/AGENCY SIDE
Michael has ridden the waves of transformation — from “packaged goods” physical products to cloud services. At SaaS pioneers Autodesk, Citrix, and NetSuite – as well as defining the razor’s edge of consumer behavior and monetization at advertising technology company PubMatic and video game publishers RockYou and EA.
Not to mention helping and advising game studios like Jagex, Bush League Games and entertainment apps like Dabkick and Bigo Live hit their moonshot strides.
WHY VIDEO GAME MARKETING? WHAT DO I HOPE TO ACHIEVE? CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING TO TURN IDEAS INTO MOONSHOT WINNERS
I genuinely enjoy solving tough problems. By seamlessly integrating the structured Go-to-Market Rigor of the enterprise with the Nimble Agility and Passion of startups — to Grow Brands, Users, Revenue and Lifetime Value.
LOVE WHAT YOU DO. DO WHAT YOU LOVE
In a career that has spanned over twenty years, I have had the pleasure of working on huge mass-market IP’s. Unknown product concepts – like Enterprise CRM but priced for startups. Action Adventure with beautiful character art, with the mystery of Sherlock Holmes
Whatever your product or game concept, if you (A) dream HUGE (B) want to change the world and (C) want to validate the market or (D) need to amplify your product or game PRESENCE for the masses, I would LOVE to hear from you.
LOVE WHAT YOU DO. DO WHAT YOU LIVE.
